The Sanyo PLC-XP100L offers an impressive 6500 ANSI lumens of brightness. It has 49x digital zoom and a durable inorganic optical system using a 330W NSHA lamp that works in conjunction with Sanyo’s high-contrast optical system with micro lens technology. The newly designed cabinet has an improved air flow system, using a sophisticated one-way air flow and filter monitor system that is efficient at controlling the temperature with single intake and exhaust vents. An active maintenance filter System automatically replaces the filter and also warns the user of clogged filters, hence increasing picture quality. Furthermore, it also offers a wide array of component inputs such as RGBHV input (or Composite or Component) and Composite/Component Video (3 RCA), S-Video inputs as well as a dual computer inputs (DVI-D with HDCP, 15 Pin D-Sub or 5 Pin BNC) with D-sub 15 out.

The PLC-XP100L has both functionality and practicality with its accessible panel. The user can effortlessly flip open the top panel to maintain/clean the prism block system. A newly-developed progressive integrated circuit provides highly improved playback of moving images. 1080 interlaced signals are converted into progressive signals while 2-3 Pulldown doubles the resolution of images from DVD playback while the color management system allows a user to change the shading of a specific color in the image to a desired shade without affecting other colors or adjustments, such as tint or white balance.
